Problems we repair

• Leaks. Water stains on a ceiling, drips during rain, damp insulation in the attic. Most leaks start at flashing around chimneys, vents, skylights and where a roof meets a wall, not in the middle of a slope.
• Missing, cracked or curling shingles. Wind lifts shingles, sun dries them out, and once one goes the ones around it are exposed.
• Storm damage. Shingles in the yard after a storm, torn ridge caps, dented or lifted flashing.

Repair or replace?

A repair makes sense when the damage is local and the rest of the roof has years left in it. Replacement makes sense when the roof is near the end of its life, when leaks keep appearing in new places, or when the decking underneath has gone soft.
